DETAILED PROGRAMME will follow
In January 2000 EuroSIVA had its first winter meeting in Crans-Montana. In 2003 we introduced a certificate in intravenous anaesthesia involving a short multiple choice questionnaire based on the course material.
This is intended to show that successful candidates have reached a certain level of theoretical knowledge in intravenous anaesthesia. The meeting is still available to those not wishing to take the questionnaire in which case a certificate of attendance will be issued.
In 2007 an audience response system was introduced. Not only improved the system the interaction with participants it also provided a convenient way of getting valuable feedback. The system will again be part of the meeting setup.
Participants also will receive the Tivatrainer software, used during the workshop, on USB stick.
This USB stick can be used on most windows computers without installation. This is a try-out version and will require 50% reduced registration fee after 20 runs.
The meeting is accredited by the Royal College of Anaesthetists with 5 points for Continuous Medical Education per day.
